Australia's Skins Tournament: the Canberra International Skins

The Fastpitch Softball League ACT, in conjunction with the Australian Softball Federation and Softball ACT, is again conducting Australia's Skins Tournament: the Canberra International Skins, at the Hawker International Softball Centre in Canberra commencing Friday 3rd December through to Sunday 5th December 2010. As in 2009 the Skins will be used as part of selection criteria to select the Australian Open Men’s Squad.
We will again be offering considerable prize money for the 2010 Skins.
Prize money
A Grade teams will be able to earn money for: - games won, innings won and least number of hits against in a game.
B Grade teams will earn points for each game win. Prizemoney will be awarded for 1st and2nd. Other prize money paid will include: - Player who hits the most number of home runs and any pitcher who pitches a no hitter.
Exact details of available prize money will be determined on numbers of teams entered.
Registrations
Registration fees will be:
· A grade; $1000
· B grade; $700
Accommodation
Special accommodation arrangements have been made with one of the tournament sponsors – Belconnen Way Motel & Serviced Apartments. They can be contacted on (02) 6254 22 22
Teams should note that this is a 3-day event with the draw commencing from Friday morning, and presentations expected to conclude at 5 p.m. Sunday. All travel arrangements need to be made around these criteria with no exceptions to the draw possible.

A non refundable Team deposit of $200 must be in by 1st November 2010 and should be forwarded to FPSL Assoc Inc, P O Box 534 Kippax ACT 2615.

Attached are all the details. The New Zealand Black Sox team will be playing in our Tournament this year.
International Series being held at same venue between Australia A, B and New Zealand Black Sox 7 Dec to 9 Dec.
