A very entertaining game, probably by far the best game of the weekend.
As always, the trip to Midland is well worth the effort. Head and shoulders the best park I can think of to enjoy fastball in a warm and friendly town.
Making the trip this year, amongst others were Jack Ferguson from Scarborough, looking no different than the first time I met him in Summerside PEI in 1994 at the World Tournament:
Tim from Meadville, PA, making his annual mustard run; and Gibby from St. Thomas. We met many others who are regulars and several from the Midland area who appreciate the game and
the spectacular Currie Stadium in Emerson Park.
A big thanks to Kyle Beane and his associates who organized this tournament and to Joe Squires the UIC for a great Blue Crew.
Looking forward to next year's Midland Explorers Tournament AND the 2012 ISC World Tournament in Midland, Michigan.
