ESA Bellys Capture Early Bird Round Robin Title
Elkland, PA – The ESA Bellys captured the first tournament of the season held at the Elkland Softball Association complex via the runs allowed rule on Saturday. 3 teams tied with 2-1 records, as ESA allowed just 8 runs in the 3 games, while Hackett Cubs and the Watertown Rampage also had 2-1 records.
Highlights: A pair of double digit strikeout games was achieved by Shawn Samson and Duane Weiler of Hackett’s Cubs, a walk off victory was had by the Watertown team in defeating ESA, and 8 total homeruns were hit in the 6 games of the event.
