Auckland, NZ - Three Auckland brothers are in line to play for the Black Sox after being named in the national men's softball training squad.
Established outfielders Ben and Thomas Enoka have been joined by younger brother, Campbell, a former Junior Black Sox representative for a training camp in Auckland in January.
Auckland, NZ - Veteran Black Sox stalwarts Brad Rona, Heinie Shannon and Stephen Ratu have been left out of a January training camp squad but the door is still open for world championship selection.
All three were part of the Black Sox's silver medal winning squad at the 2015 world series in Saskatoon, Canada.
Catcher Ratu, 40, is taking a year off representative softball, but left-handed pitcher Shannon, 40, and infielder Rona, 39, are still playing and keen to continue with the Black Sox.

The Toronto Gator Legends are pleased to announce their 2016 roster and have set their sights on winning an illusive ISC Legends World Championship in Quad Cities, next August. The Gators have advanced to the finals in each of the past two seasons but lost a heart breaking extra innings game to Cobourg Force in 2014 and ran out of gas with injuries in 2015, losing to rival Durham Bulls. Owner Jack Fireman does not like to lose and after a number of his veterans decided to retire has revamped a lineup he is confident can get him back on top.
