(Kitchener, Ontario)
The Millwood Logistics Countrymen are making their first official trip to the AAU in Orlando next week.
The team is made up of a variety of players from several teams including: Innerkip Eagles, Jarvis Merchants, Linwood Chiefs and Elmira Juniors.
Pitching this year consists of MVP Scott Wager who won honours in the round robin portion of the Canadians in Prince George this past summer. Also featured on the staff is Steve Running, a hard throwing right hander. Bill Hillhouse will offer a few innings if called upon with Jayme Amos picking up some duty as well. Keeping the pitchers in line will be done by veteran Dwayne Mckenzie who spent last season with the Orillia Riversharks.
The Robinson brothers will bring some speed and power to the team while youngsters Adam Dearborne, Adam Snider, Dino Martin, Craig Fletcher, and Mike Pullin will provide some versatility.
Mike "Dutchy" VanBoekel will be playing in his last fastball tourney before he hangs up the spikes.
