The PA Power attended the annual George Baumann tournament in Erie, PA.

Rain delay - all further scores are five inning games.

The Midland Explorers opened their 2007 season at the Baumann Invitational tournament. After winning their first 3 games, they lost their last game of the round-robin part of the tourney, and then lost the first game of the playoffs.

WP - Grant Patterson (1-0)
LP - Steve Langley (Dan Beecroft in the 5th)
Both teams scored 2 unearned runs. Craig Crawford with a single and decisive RBI in the 4th.

Elkland (PA) 2
WP - Mike Joseph (1-0)
LP - Jason Smith
Steve Roberts (3x3) and Kyle Beane (2x3) each had 3 RBI for Midland, Eddy Ketelhut had a 2 RBI double. Todd Moore (1) had an inside-the-park home run. Elkland's Brian Miller had a solo home run for Elkland.

Craig Crawford was 2x2 with 2 RBI and Todd Schultz had an RBI for Midland

LP - Brent Lynch (0-1)
Ashland scored an unearned run in the 3rd. Ketelhut had an RBI triple to tie the game. A 2-out single in the bottom of the 5th gave Ashland the win.
With a 3-1 record, Explorers win their pool and earn a berth to the ISC World Tournament

Derrick Zechman had 2 doubles and scored twice for the Power. Todd Schultz had a HR (1) and was 3x3 for the Explorers.
Explorers play next at the Boulevard Lounge/Explorer Invitational at Emerson Park in Midland the weekend of June 8th.
