May 10 declared World Baseball Softball Confederation Day

On 10 May 2014, the WBSC elected its first Executive Board. "We will dedicate this day to our community to celebrate it together," said WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari during last weekend's Executive Board meeting. "A day to commemorate the unification of baseball and softball."

WBSC Executive Board celebrates tremendous growth and innovation for international baseball and softball

The WBSC Executive Board confirmed 10 May as World Baseball Softball Confederation Day and also approved the qualification process for the World Games Chengdu 2025, which will take place from 7-17 August 2025, for both men’s and women’s softball.

Dates announced for WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup group and Finals in Canada

One of the three groups, which make up the Group Stage of the XVIII WBSC Men's Softball World Cup, will be staged in Prince Albert, Canada from 10 to 14 July 2024 while the World Championship Finals will be held from 8 to 13 July 2025.

Ryuki Tsuda earns WBSC U-18 Men's Softball World Cup MVP honours, WBSC unveils All-World Team

Tsuda hit .409 for the tournament with two home runs, eight RBIs and was the tournament leader in runs scored with 11. He scored on Umeda's World Championship title-winning grand slam.
