USA captures top seed entering the playoffs at the ISFMen’s World Cup
 

PRAGUE, CZ -- Despite losing to Venezuela, 6-5, in its last game in theround robin, the USA Men's National Team has earned the No. 1 seed entering theplayoffs at the ISF Men’s World Cup. 

The USA, Japan and Venezuela all finished with 7-1 records in theround-robin, but the USA had the fewest runs scored against them (7) while Japanhad nine and Venezuela 12. 

 

DeMo EHS of the Netherlandsearned the fourth and final spot in the playoffs with a 5-3 record and isscheduled to play Venezuelaon Saturday in the opening round while the USAfaces off with Japanat 1 p.m. CST on Saturday.

 

Japan defeated Venezuela 7-5 earlier today tocomplete its round-robin play. The Page playoffs will conclude on Sunday (June24th).
