July 6th to 8th 2007 – North Fred Sports Complex in Napanee
Bantam Elimination Tournament
The Ontario Amateur Softball Association is pleased to announce the
Bantam Elimination Tournament, taking place July 6th to 8th, 2007.
Competing at this event are 15 teams, from across ontario, viaing to be
called champion in Napanee. The tournament will be hosted by Softball
Napanee at the North Fred Sports Complex in Napanee.

Peewee Elimination Tournament Results:
The Ontario Amateur Softball Association Peewee Elimination Tournament
took place this past weekend - June 29th to July 1st - hosted by
Newmarket Minor Softball. The tournament commenced with all teams
being piped onto the field, and opening ceremonies included Oshawa
Bulldog player Peter DeBenedicitis singing O Canada, with J.P. and Alex
Karwowski acting as flag bearers.
The Napanee Express and Stratford Memorials won the right to compete in
the Eastern Canadians in Nova Scotia, with Stratford winning 5 straight
games. Braden Scott of Napanee and Michael Lagace-Roote of Stratford
pitched 13 strikeouts each in the winners bracket finals, with
Lagace-Roote also pitching a no-hitter against the Springbrook Royals.
All teams were awarded MVP medals after each game, courtesy of
Newmarket Minor Softball.
