A reminder that the Melissa Brideau Fastball Fundraiseris slated to take place this week at 7pm and 9pm on Thursday June 5th atLancaster park in St. Catharines. The Niagara Snappers will be taking onthe California Lumberkings in the early game, and the GHFL All Stars willtangle with the Lumberkings in the late game. Please come out, support aworthy cause and enjoy some fastball action. There is no admissionfee, there will be tickets available that can be used to bid onprizes, a 50/50 draw and a BBQ. The prize list is impressive and isworth the drive to Lancaster alone. We are hoping to have more prizes addedto the list by game time on Thursday.

Joe Todd will also be in attendance representing the ISCand will be saying a few words during the opening ceremonies as well as stayingthe weekend to attend the Shootout for the first time.
There will be a special ceremony on Friday night at8:30pm with Niagara-on-the-Lake Lord Mayor Gary Burroughs on hand, as wellas St. Catharines MPP and Minister of Transportation Jim Bradley. Bothgentleman will be welcoming all teams to the area for the weekend. Members of the Niagara Motors Fastball team that took silver in the worldchampionships will also be on hand and will be honoured during the openingceremonies.
The Snapper Shootout program will also be available forfree to all fans and players. This program is one that will blow your socksoff, with over 30 pages of full colour photographs, statistics, schedules, teamand player biographies, there is not another program like this in all of NorthAmerican fastpitch.
