Good night
Sorry guys I wish we could have given you better new as we all no now that due to Mother Nature raining on our parade the 32ND Annual Men's fastball tourney had to be cancelled after 2 beautiful days of ball weather and some great entertaining games....despite some of the scores.
We were now playing into the elimination rounds when the rain came.
The Pools ended as such
Pool A
1. Silver screen
2. Padres
3. Jr Decembers
Pool B saw
1 Mike Oaks AA Selects
2. Regina Gold
3. Muskeg Lake A (replaced Jr. Diamond Backs)
Pool C finished
1. Warman Merchants
2. KW Homes
3. Drycreek Penguins from Canwood
and Pool D finished
1. National Leasing Diamond Dogs
2. Leduc JR 747's
3. Hanley Merchants
In the Sunday 8 am game (the only game played)
Leduc 747' lost to Mike Oaks AA Selects
Then the rains really came down.
Again a little disappointed not to finish but at least this year we really did need the rain.
Maybe better luck next year
