Re: ISF XII WorldMen’s Softball Championship Wednesday’s Games
Action is set to get underway at the ISF XII World Men’sSoftball Championship. Today’s gameswill go along way in determining playoff matchups. The Denmark and Puerto Ricocould really complicate things with upset victories. Demark plays Japan at 3:00at Gordie Howe and Puerto Rico plays Venezuela immediately following. The most interesting match up looks to be the surging Great Britaintaking on the American at 8:30 at BVI. The Brits have never beaten the U.S. before, but are confidentfollowing two consecutive come from behind wins. High School math say thisshould be close as both teams beat the highly regard Japanese. A Great Britain win will put theminto the race for second place in Pool A and a double life in the playoffs.
Team Canadawill kick back a little following their 3:30 game against South AfricaThey will have an autograph and picture session at the media tent at BVI. A very timely happening as today is alsoStudents Day where all students get into the park all day for just $10.
