WHITEHORSE, YUKON, CANADA - While researching some statistics, I came
across this photo gallery and slide show of the 8th annual 2008
International Softball Federation (ISF) Junior Men's World Fastpitch
Championship (age 19-and-under) held at the Pepsi Softball Centre in
Whitehorse in which Australia claimed its fourth consecutive
championship by defeating Canada, 2-1, in extra innings.
Along with Canada and Australia, the United States, New Zealand,
Australia, Japan, Argentina, Venezuela, Denmark, Czech Republic,
Botswana, and South Africa competed in the 10-day event. The top four
finishers were (1) Australia, (2) Canada, (3) Japan (4) New Zealand.
Team USA finished eighth in the 12-team event.
If you missed it before, you photo enthusiasts may enjoy the slide
