Canada Elite chilled by Michigan Ice to close out the series.
(Ottawa, ON) - Canada Elite suffered a loss in game four of their U.S. Tour against the Michigan Ice by a score of seven to three.
Michigan took to an early lead and continued to frustrate Canada Elite's pitching and defense combining for ten hits, seven runs and forcing three Canada Elite defensive errors.
Katie Rosentreter (Winnipeg, MB) was credited with the loss giving up four runs in less than three innings of work. Ashley Lanz (Winnipeg, MB) closed out the game for Canada Elite.
Erin Gee (Burnaby, BC) led Canada Elite's offence going two for two at the plate producing all three of Canada Elite's runs.
After splitting their four game series with Michigan, Canada Elite will relocate to Surrey, BC as they prepare to compete in the 13th Canada Cup from July 1st to July 9th.
