The Topeka Wave captured the Missouri River Valley NAFA qualifier with a hard fought 6-5 win over the Colorado Rage and qualified for the NAFA AA World Series in Des Moines, IA August 19-22.
The Wave avenged an opening game, 3-1 loss to the Rage. Chris Bigelow was the winning pitcher for the Wave and Ray Foster took the loss. Brad Kooser opened the game with a leadoff homer and was 2x4 with 2 rbi’s.
