ISC Canada East announces U21 Tournament
The executive of the ISC Canada East Travel League is excited to announce a new direction for 2012, focusing on the future of the game and providing ongoing opportunities for young fastball players.
In the best interests of providing continuity for junior teams to transition as a group to the men's game, the League executive will endeavour to hold an U21 tournament this summer that will provide at least one paid entry to the 2012 ISC U21 Championship tournament in Midland as well as a paid entry to the 2013 ISC World Tournament.
More details on the U21 Canada East Championship will be released as they become available, however, we expect to have a number of the top ISC umpires on hand and the potential to feature games on Ballpark Radio.
The change in direction follows the dissolution of the current league structure which has, since the mid 1990s, represented the top echelon of men's fastball in the province. The League executive is looking forward this new direction and welcomes any and all inquiries from U21 teams.
