SLUGFEST IN AZILDA
A total of four teams combined to score 36 runs last night in Azilda . In the opener of the Quentin Seely Remax fastball league , the North Stars scored 4 in in the s second inning and then romped to a 15-2 victory over the Dog House .Joel Belanger and Mike Cain led the way with a 2 for 32 performance .Mike Greslow and Lanny Fichette combined for the win . Starter Ed Brennan took the loss .
It was almost a carbon copy in the nightcap as the Hounds scored 7 in the two opening frames and then cruised to a 19-9 victory .Gary Lamothe went all the way for the win . Terry Kuchtke hit 5 for 5 with teammate Matt Behn hitting 4 for 4 went 4 for 4 with a walk while Jim Pawis hit 3 for 3 in a losing cause for the Seminoles .
Play resumes tonight in Coniston at 9 PM when the Hounds take on the Seminoles ( rain out from May) .
