NY Bombers (Dunkirk, NY Tournament) Results
Dunkirk, NY – The NY Bombers finished in a tie for 3rd place with the Niagara Fury in the 2012 First Ward Falcon 12 team Tournament over the weekend. The Bombers finished 1-2 in round robin play with losses to Gremlins and Wyevale. In a Sunday morning rematch, the Bombers won 7-3 over Wyevale to advance to the semi finals vs. PA Power. The Power defeated the Bombers 11-3 to end the weekend for the Bombers. Bombers outfielder Justin Stock led the team offensively, batting .600, with a pair of triples. Justin Heyman was the top Bomber pitcher, logging 16.1 innings, with 16 strikeouts.
The Bombers overall record on the season stands at 17-7-1, and will next be in action at the 2012 ISC World Tournament in Midland, Michigan on August 11th at 6 PM vs. the Sweaburg Crush.
