OASA Press Release February 6, 2013
Â
Since our last press release, 7 teams have secured a spot in the OASA Great Lakes Championship to play for a chance to represent Ontario at the Senior Men’s Canadian Championship to be held later this year in Stratford, Ontario.
The OASA would like to continue with a set number of teams to allow for pool play. We would like to keep the number of teams at 8, 12 or 16 for this tournament. Therefore we’re looking for at least one more team, but will continue to accept teams on a waiting list until we reach an additional four team to round out a 12 team tournament.
Changes this year to the Great Lakes Championship are based on the eligibility of players. Only Ontario players that are eligible to play in a Canadian Championship will be able to participate in this tournament in 2013.
