The Circle Tap Dukes men's faspitch team posted a 3-1 (7-2) mark this
weekend in the second of two NAFA travel league weekends.
The Dukes opened the weekend with a 7-0 win over 21 Gun Saloon (Denmark,
WI). In the first inning Todd Malnory had a two RBI base hit followed by
a RBI triple by Joel Goodall. CT made it a 4-0 game as Travis Thompson
reached on an error and scored on another error. In the 5th Malnory hit a
solo HR and Rob Schweyer hit an RBI double.

The Dukes lost to The Bar Buzz(Appleton) 2-1. Brett Kadlec hit a solo HR
in the 5th to give The Bar a 1-0 lead. CT tied it in the bottom half as
Ryan Sinclair drew a walk and scored on a Bryan Hansen base hit. Kadlec
walked in the top of the 9th and scored on a Steve Scheibe triple.

Circle Tap bounced back with a 6-1 win over Wilkomm Mobil (Kenosha, WI).
Todd Malnory hit a solo HR in the 2nd, Joel Goodall hit a two run shot in
the 4th, Tom Crouch hit a two run shot in the 5th, followed by a solo shot
by Bryan Hansen.

The Dukes finished up the weekend with a 8-3 win over The
Stoneyard(Appleton) Tom Crouch gave the Dukes a 1-0 lead in the firs as he
picked up an rbi triple, scoring Sinclair. Stoneyard made it a 1-1 game
in the third and CT answered with a run in the bottom half as Goodall
reached on an error and scored on a Malnory double. In the 4th Sinclair
singled and scored on a double by Crouch to make it a 3-1 game. Stoneyard
came back with a run in the 5th and 6th to even it at 3 before CT put up 5
in the bottom half of the 6th. Travis Thompson walked, moved to third on
a Sinclair double, Crouch walked and all three scored on a Rob Schweyer
single. Chris DeLarwelle followed with a base hit, Todd Malnory reached
on an error to load the bases, Jim Corbett walked to drive in a run and
Justin Colombo reached on an error to drive in a run.

The Dukes will be off until June 15-16 when they travel to Fargo, ND for
the NAFA Open World Series. German Sacks, Fernando Petric, Lewis Weldon,
and Kyle Magnusson will be joining the team then.
