Softball Canada Announces 2013 ISF Junior Women’s World Championship Roster
(Ottawa, ON) Softball Canada is pleased to announce the seventeen (17) players who have been selected to represent Canada at the 2013 ISF X Junior Women’s World Championship in Brampton, Ontario from July 1-7. Softball Canada recently held a pair of regional evaluation camps, followed by a final selection camp that concluded on Friday.  â€œThe coaching staff and I are thrilled to work with this group of young athletes as we lead them to the ISF Junior Women’s World Championship on our home turf†said Junior Women’s National Team Head Coach Melissa Basilio. “To represent your country and wear the name across your chest is the highest honour. These young women showed a tremendous amount of heart and commitment over the course of the selection process, earning them a spot on our Junior National Team. I am confident that they will continue to represent our country with great pride and continue to work hard towards a gold medal on the World stage.† The athletes who have been selected by the coaching staff to represent Canada at the 2013 ISF X Junior Women’s World Championship in Brampton, Ontario from July 1-7 are:  Athletes
