70th Annual ISC World Tournament will be played in Quad Cities, IA-IL

April 25, 2014 - The International Softball Congress is excited to celebrate its Diamond Anniversary in 2016 by staging the 70th Annual ISC Men's Fastball World Tournament in Quad Cities, Iowa-Illinois during August of that year.

"We're extremely happy to be celebrating our 70th Anniversary in Quad Cities, where they have treated us so extraordinarily well,"Â said Larry Fisher, Executive Director of the International Softball Congress (ISC).

"We are thrilled to bring the ISC World Tournament back in 2016," said Lynn Hunt, Vice President of the Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau. "The ISC Men's World Championship Tournament is a premier event for our area and August is always better when the ISC is here!"

This will be the 14th time that the Quad Cities area has hosted the ISC World Tournament, starting with nine straight from 1961-1969 and again in 1973 in Rock Island followed by recent visits to Moline in 2009, 2011 and 2013.Â

In addition to the ISC World Tournament, teams will also compete in the ISC II bracket as well as the 50+ Legends and U21 Youth divisions.
