Connaught Ice Breaker Kicks Off Season
The 2014 BC Men's Fastpitch season kicks off this weekend at Connaught Park in Kitsilano as 15 teams will compete in the annual tournament. Â

Lower Mainland Fastball LeagueÂ
Following the Ice Breaker this weekend, the LMFL schedule will kick off. The league again has two tiers, 6 teams in Tier 1 (Angels, Canadians, Giants, Lomas, Mariners, & Rebels) and 7 teams in Tier 2 (Stealers, Cat & Fiddle, Dukes, Fleetwood, Ladner Masters, Sar Majors & Wildcats). World Jrs in Whitehorse
Whitehorse, Yukon will again play host to the 2014 ISF World Jr. Championships July 11-20 at their Pepsi Softball Complex. 10 teams will via for the World Championship with Argentina returning as the defending champion. Prior to the event, you can catch Australia, NZ and Canada in action in local competition vs LMFL teams and in the Vancouver Challenge (Aus. & NZ only). Website:Â http://worldfastpitch2014.com |

Pre-Season
This past weekend the Meraloma club traveled across the ditch for an exhibition double header against the Sooke Loggers. This is the 3rd year in a row these two teams have set up a pre-season double dip. Game Recap |
