OKLAHOMA CITY – Twenty-four of the country’s best softball players have arrived in Lynchburg, Va. for the USA Softball Women’s National Team (WNT) selection camp the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America/USA Softball announced today.  Attendees will participate in a five-day selection process as well as simulated games and will be evaluated by the Women’s National Team Selection Committee (WNTSC). Following camp, athletes will begin a three-city tour of exhibition games in which they will be further evaluated.

"We've been waiting for this since last summer and to finally be on the dirt with the full team is awesome," said two-time WNT member Amanda Chidester.  "We've got a great group of girls who are meshing really well together and we're all having so much fun being back in the Red, White and Blue."
