    DOG HOUSE WINS A DOUBLE TO FINISH THE REGULAR SEASON

                          The Dog House came up with a double victory on Monday night inn Azilda ..Instead of playing two games , one on Monday and another on Thursday in Garson , both teams agreed to have this game count as a four pointer . The Dog House got on the wagon early scoring four runs in the first with the North Stars scoring 3 in the next two frames to make it a 4-3 game . The Dog House score three more to win it going away 7-3 and gain 4 points .This ended the regular season for the league .Jonathan Contin in his 5th strait game got the win on 3 runs , 9 hits , 8 strike outs and not issuing a single walk ..Matt Behn an import from the Garson Hounds went the distance for the Stars giving up 7 runs (all earned) on 14 hits while fanning 2 batters and issuing 2 walks .. Moe Coutu (triple) and Riley Kagagins both hit 3 for 3 for the Dog House Brett Demers (double) went 3 for 3 in a losing cause for the North Stars ..
                            League play will not resume now until the 7th of August a Thursday night in Garson at the Lorne Brady Memorial Park for the first round of the playoffs (double round robin ) .In the opener at 7 pm the Dog House tangle with the Aquatech North Stars while in the nightcap at 9pm the Panthers tangle with the Garson Hounds .
