                   The Garson Hounds (3-0-0) remained undefeated with their third strait win with a come from behind 4-3 victory over the Panthers ..The Panthers took a 3-0 lead after four innings but the comeback kids , the Hounds roared back with four rune , two in the fifth by Eric Legendre’s deep two run homer over the left field fence .In the sixth John Ainslie helped his own cause with a two run triple .Ainslie (2-0) went the distance in the victory scattering six hits and striking out 2 batters .Brad Matheson (0-2) also went the distance giving up 8 hits and fanning six batters .Bryan Welsh led the way for the victors going a perfect 2 for 2 with Brad Matheson hitting 2 for 3 (both doubles) in a losing cause for the Panthers ,
                             In the nightcap , the Dog House (1-1-1) came from behind a 5-1 deficit to score 4 and earn a tie against the North Stars (0-1-2) .The pitchers of decision were Jonathan Contin (1-1) struck out 7 to give him the playoff lead at 27 ( 9 per game average) while Carter Joncas pitched for the North Stars .Jesse St Cyr (dbl,trpl) went 2 for 3 for the Stars while Dan Quesnel led the Dog House with a 3 for 4 performance (2 doubles) .
                             Playoff action resumes Thursday night in Garson at the Lorne Brady Memorial Park when in the opener at 7 pm the North Stars face the Dog House while in the nightcap at 9 pm the Hounds can clinch the #1 seed of the first round with a victory over the Panthers.
                              Don’t forget this weekend the All Ontario Native Fastball Tournament in Parry Island (August 22nd to 24th )
