The New Zealand Men's Softball team, The Golden Homes Black Sox, have recently arrived in Canada for the Softball World Championships to be held in Saskatoon.Â
In just a few hours time, the team will play their first match against local club champions, the Calgary Sox.Â
NgÄti Porou's Nathan Nukunuku, who made his debut as captain in 1999, will once again fulfill the role at the competition, while Mark Sorenson is the coach.Â
The Black Sox have won the World Championships six times, however, they have never won in Saskatoon.
