It was a sea of red as 6300 fans packed into Bob Van Impe Stadium yesterday, bringing the championship total paid attendance to 29,900. Read all about in Champ’s Chatter – the official newsletter of the 2015 WBSC Men’s World Softball Championship.

There are some crucial  matchups today:
Â
The day begins at 10:00 with Great Britain playing Argentina, the loser is relegated to the placement series and plays for 9th . With a win Argentina still has a shot at 2nd place and a double life in the championship playoff round. (see the scenarios in Champ’s Chatter)
Â
At 10:30 Venezuela plays Dominican Republic. A Dominican win and they will be first in Pool B and Venezuela 3rd. If Venezuela wins they will be 2nd and Dominican Republic will likely be 3rd.
Â
At 12;30 Czech Republic plays New Zealand. A Czech win and they are 2nd and New Zealand are 4th. A Kiwi win will create a good situation for them to get 2nd place in Pool A, if they limit the Czech offense (see Champ’s Chatter for details)
Â
Australia plays Mexico at 8:30, a loss by the Australians could push them to 3rd in Pool B.
