NORMAN, Okla --Although neither OU senior Lauren Chamberlain and Shelby Pendley got to play in the Women's College World Series in 2015, they made their presence felt throughout the season as reflected in the final NCAA Softball Statistics for Division One. Chamberlain, who has signed a three-year pro contract with the USSSA Florida Pride, finished fourth in slugging percentage (.993 with 147 total bases in 148 at-bats), seventh in on base percentage (.589, 62 walks, 59 hits and eight hit by pitch), tenth in homers (23 in 56 games) fourth in walks (62 in 56 games) and 27th in RBI (65) tied with her teammate Pendley. Pendley, who also was drafted by the USSSA Florida Pride, was sixth in slugging percentage ( .950, 152 total bases in 160 at-bats), 37th in on base percentage (.531), and tied for fifth in home runs (24). She ended her OU career with 84 homers while Chamberlain closed her career with a record 95 despite not competing in the World Series as the Sooners lost in the Super Regional to Alabama. In team statistics, OU was second in batting average (.361, 583 hits in 1,492 at-bats), second in home runs (107 or 1.84 per game), fifth in won-loss percentage (.49-9, .845), first in scoring (8.40 runs per game, 487 runs), third in fielding percentage (.979, 1,064 putouts, 308 assists and 30 errors), and 17th in team ERA (2.19). WCWS championship Florida was fourth in team ERA (1.63) and first in fielding percentage (.981 with 33 errors, 40 assists and 1,312 putouts).
